It is a definitive guide to the Reptiles of Sri Lanka and was first created in 2005, with the extended version being launched on 4th June 2009. The site is constantly updated with new information as it becomes available. Sri Lanka Butterflies The site provides information on all butterflies found in Sri Lanka and is kept constantly updated. Amphibian project This project is a work-in-progress which will ultimately cover all amphibians in Sri Lanka. We hope to launch the site at the end of 2012.		Research We are involved in research regarding wildlife and nature conservation. Education Programs We hold seminars and workshops at schools, institutions, young environmental associations and agricultural institutions. Our aim is to educate and share our passion for the environment, wildlife and conservation. Actions for environmental issues We are involved in several environmental issues such as saving species which are threatened due to animal and human conflict. Rescuing stranded animals This project was initiated to rescue stranded animals and release them into suitable natural habitats. It is an ongoing task and has been extremely successful; to date we have rescued more than 300 animals (mainly snakes) in the past few years. Field visits We arrange field visits for our group members to observe the behaviour of fauna and diversity of flora in Sri Lanka. If you are a non-member and you would like to join us on one of these trips, you would be more than welcome.
