Background

Survival of human and fauna species depend on the level of generating oxygen by trees. Today, global warming, Climate changing and deforestation are rising environment issues over the world. Back to Green Programme was come to arena due to the need of trees to the environment, species conservation, to stop habitat destruction and finding solution for burning environment issues. As a result of deforestation and harmful human activities against natural environment, all people are undergoing very serious effects. Considering all effects and needsWildreach Trust gave birth to "Back to Green Project" to motivate people for tree planting while enjoying the cultural value and produce benefits for future generation too.

Achievements
In most of the locations plant replacement for destroyed plants has done by the responsible person/authority.
We could save more plants that expected due to many natural disasters occurred during past 6 months.
We could Continue Back to Green monthly event target successfully. For the seven months from the beginning we have covered 12 events.
99% of the saplings planted via FB challenge is saved and decor home gardens.
Back To Green receives invitations and continue monthly events with the coordination of government organizations/CBOs and NGOs
Two days residential Training was given to 9 team members at the Belipola sustainability education center of 9 on Analog Forestry and planting
